These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of nabututor.com and the Nabu study tool at chat.nabututor.com (the "Service"), operated by Nabu Tutor Co. ("Nabu," "we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Nabu is a study tool for the medical boards (including USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, Step 3, COMLEX, and related exams) that teaches clinical reasoning and provides access to live office hours with physicians on paid plans. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Not medical advice
Nabu is an educational study aid, not a provider of medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Nothing in the Service should be used to make clinical decisions for real patients. Always rely on your training, supervising physicians, and authoritative clinical sources. Nabu can be wrong; verify anything important, which is part of why a physician is in the loop each week.
No guarantee of results
We work hard to help you learn, but we do not guarantee any particular exam score, pass result, or residency outcome. Your results depend on many factors beyond the Service.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly of any unauthorized use. The Service is for your individual use; do not share your account.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Nabu offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans start at $29.97 per month and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel before the 5th of the new month to avoid the next charge. Fees are billed through our payment processor. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it, or access it through unauthorized means.
- Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute Service content, or use it to build a competing product.
- Do not upload unlawful content or violate the rights of others.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its content, software, and brand, is owned by Nabu or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own study. Study notes and materials you create remain yours.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nabu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new date. We may suspend or end access to the Service for conduct that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
